Awamori is a distilled spirit indigenous to Okinawa made from Thai-style long grain indica rice and a unique black Koji mold.  How do you think about visiting Awamori distillery on rainy day?  You can learn the history and fermentation and distill process of the liquor in a tour. You can also taste some kinds of Awamori and get souvenirs at the shop.  A tour of the distillery may not be possible due to the operating conditions.  Please contact the distillery in advance if you'd like to have a tour.
